My Top 5 Podcasts

I go through phases of time-passing activities on my daily 45-minute commute each way. For a while, it was reading books (they became too heavy to lug around with me), for a period of time it was streaming Songza (which ate my data way too quickly), then came the TED Talk viewings, the social media perusing, and my current obsession: podcasts.

There’s been one podcast of which I’ve listened to every single episode and tune in religiously week after week since it started, but otherwise, lately, I’ve gotten into even more. Continue reading “My Top 5 Podcasts”

Behind the Blog: Getting to know each other

I recently read a post by one of my fave recipe bloggers, Erin over at Well Plated, about self-doubt and negative self-talk, particularly after social situations. She admitted that she was nervous publishing the post, given that it was about something other than food. But by bravely sharing her story, she was able to relate to a lot of people at a personal level and her readers (myself included) appreciated her opening up.
