5 Steps to the Perfect Power Bowl

How to create an easy, nutritious (and Insta-worthy!) bowl meal

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. It’s been a challenging couple of months with my injury and making improvements and renos to our new house. While the health thing certainly is a legitimate reason for not having been as active on here lately, part of me has been holding off because I haven’t been able to come up with a good, long piece. Why I Love September Pt. 4: Fall is in the air

Here we are: the last post of my four-part series on Why I Love September! It’s been a thrill to chronicle the many reasons I think September is a spectacular month, and I hope you’ve enjoyed reading and maybe even gotten a few tips.

On September 12 last year, I married my best friend and partner of more than six years in an intimate ceremony on a beautiful golf course. I still get a kick out of saying “husband” every time I mention him – hoping that novelty doesn’t wear off any time soon! Continue reading “Why I Love September Pt. 2: Our one-year anniversary”

Why I Love September Pt. 1: A fresh start

In this first post of a four-part series on why I love September, I’m going to look at why this month is special because it’s a natural time for a fresh start.

This concept is that with peoples’ schedules often changing each September post-work and back to school (at least in the U.S. and Canada), it’s a fitting and logical time for us to make other changes we want in our lives, too. Continue reading “Why I Love September Pt. 1: A fresh start”
